I decided to take on Capstone because I wanted to explore my passions in ways that I normally wouldn't have the freedom to do with classroom curriculum. This is something I consider a big commitment with the other classes and extra projects I'm working on this year, but I'm excited to get started! To me, Capstone is not only a way of showing who you are, but a way to learn from yourself and others. I haven't crystalized what I will do for my project yet, but I have a lot of ideas. I'm very passionate about the environment, so I think I'll try to combine my love of nature and art in some way. I also want my finished product to have a message, I'm thinking something about the amount of litter and trash that can be found everywhere nowadays.
